About the job

About who needs care: Stroke survivor, partially paralyzed left hand and leg. Uses a cane but needs someone to walk beside him. Needs help with cutting hair, setting out clothes, making meals, homemaking, laundry, running errands, accompanying him to appointments, arranging his collectable figures, opening boxes and putting away items. He is interested in movies and collecting action figures. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, politically liberal, geeky, likes movies and TV, and doesn't mind hairless cats. They need to be compassionate, easygoing, understanding, and flexible for schedule. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
