About the job

About who needs care: Downs Syndrome. Has Psychosis, talks to self, agitated sometimes. Meds has caused weight gain, walking long distances is limited. She is outgoing, enjoys bowling, fishing on shoreline, music, art, dancing especially to grease music, plays, musicals, etc. Movies, Zoom and arts, crafts, painting. Basically, structured to get her outside to be more active and engaged. About 17 hours a week. Basically, take her shopping, activities, etc. Park, bowling, Zoo, painting classes, etc. About the care needs: Someone whose patient, friendly, engaging with her, shares some of her interest. Someone who is dependable and reliable, who will show up on the dates scheduled. Someone whose looking for a permanent position (female) preferably. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
