About the job

About who needs care: He has 2 nephrostemy tubes in his back and is dealing with prostate cancer. He enjoys watching the news, and going to mass. His routine lately has been getting up up around 10am, getting cleaned up using the restroom and having breakfast in his chair. He'll watch the news and eat and depending on doctors appointments he'll take a nap. If he's feeling up to it he'll go to the porch and sit in the sunroom. He has difficulty moving around and we are trying to get him more active. After some more tv he will then get ready for bed. About the care needs: Someone with thick skin preferably, he is a good man but he slips every now and then and can be blunt. And ideally someone who isn't political. We have had some nurses at his appointments who are loudly conservative and it aggravates him. Would love someone with some nursing experience. As for hobbies and interests like I mentioned before he loves watching the news, he worked for him and loves cars, he was a master gardener years ago. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
