About the job

About who needs care: Mother, Ellen 83 yo, lives with my Father Fred. Ellen has Dementia, confused, but she ambulates, toilets and feeds herself . My Father helps to take care of my Mother, but needs extra help, so it is not so overwhelming for him. My Mom, Ellen is happy and enjoys talking with people. She enjoys music and exercising. She enjoys reading, but it is getting harder for her to follow in the book. She was an LPN, and worked in pediatrics and nursery, she enjoys children About the care needs: Work with patients with dementia. Days and times are flexible, we think about 4 days per week, for 2-3 hrs each of the days Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
