I'm looking for hands-on care and companion for my mother in her 90s. Medication prompting/verification may or may not be needed. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Helping make the bed, laundry, meals and clean up. The house is small and there will be two additional people there as well. She does most everything on her own, but tires quickly. She can be unsteady at times and is recovering from abdominal surgery so cannot lift anything for six weeks. (nothing more than 1-2 pounds). Keeping her safe is the biggest priority. Additional tasks may be added but nothing strenuous. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, speaks clear English and comfortable with pets. She is scheduled to be at this house through September 25 so this will be a short term position.
