About the job

About who needs care: Suffers from Parkinson's Disease. Diagnosed 5 years ago. I'm his daughter in Law not his daughter. I take him to ALL appointments. We live out of city limits in Beauregard Parish. He is just starting to get a memory problem as in a form of (Dementia). But currently he's in a wheelchair when we are out for safety. But at home he does have days he has energy to use Walker. He likes to be outdoors on his side by side. Or go to town. We need someone there overnight. If possible. To see he gets to bed okay and early in the morning like 4 or 5 a.m. to help lift him up to sit up and help give him a shower and dress him. Then they could go home. We are with the V. A. We can discuss that more. He has motor and memory issues. About the care needs: Someone strong Doesn't get feelings hurt easy And is patient Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
