About the job

About who needs care: My mother has dementia and lung cancer still in remission. She also has multiple compression fractures in her back and she no longer eats much so she has chronic weakness and fatigue. She is still ambulatory with assistance but is unable to do any self care. She is occasionally incontinent if she does not make it in time but continent most of the times. My Dad lives with her and he takes care of himself but is not physically able to tug on her or do her self care needs. She naps for long periods several times a day so we would also love to find someone to assist dad with some laundry and light housework. About the care needs: Looking for a very reliable , kind, patient and compassionate person and preferably someone with some experience caring for the elderly. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
