About who needs care: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (early stage); occasional Supraventicular Tachycardia; some anxiety & depression. My husband has dementia & is now unable to help me. He also has severe Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease. We are both friendly people and miss interacting with others like we used to. My husband (almost 80) likes to watch old Western movies, mainly, and takes naps in his chair. Maybe someone who would like to listen to stories of his cowboy days would perk him up! He had interesting younger adult years. I'd like to have someone who could encourage me to start drawing again. I used to also enjoy painting on rocks & doing a few other crafts. My sewing machine hasn't been used since I made a lot of masks during the pandemic. I'm fairly computer literate. I'd like to get pictures moved onto USBs. There are sooo many! I'll be 72 on Aug. 1st. About the care needs: We'd enjoy a friendly, bubbly caregiver. Skills: Cook simple, healthy meals for us. We'd supply ingredients. Maybe help do organizing some stuff (keep, donate, or pitch). Hobbies/Interests: Various crafts (nothing complicated). Hopefully, the person would like our 2 cats. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
