About who needs care: My Dad has dementia/Alzheimer's. He needs care 1 or 2 days a week to bath, change of clothes and dress, he has another caregiver who takes care of food, grocery shopping cooking, cleaning etc, but cannot bathe him. He loves to see his flowers grow in his garden, sitting outside on beautiful days, sometimes reading some very short small easy to read materials (such as junk mail) and enjoys watching Shark Tank. Ideally have his hot mint tea with honey after waking, a little later have a light breakfast, then have an outing of some kind (a drive or a grocery store trip or to see his daughter, grand-daughter or great grand-daughter), then relax on his couch, maybe have a little lunch (usually likes soup), light reading (maybe some junk mail or a magazine), have a dinner, watch shark tank, some comradery, and then to bed. About the care needs: Bubbly and fun would be the best, he responds well to someone smiling and energetic. Just someone that knows how to get someone to bathe that is kind of difficult because he doesn't want to at all. If they enjoyed puzzles, reading or gardening, all things he likes to do. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
