About who needs care: Dad just had toes amputated which has caused him to start using a walker- limiting his mobility a bit. He's been in a nursing home the past three months which has caused weightloss and muscle loss from having to stay off his feet as they healed. He was a farmer and is a John Deere enthusiast. We are interested in overnight and morning assistance, then evenings- with breakfast and mid afternoon meal preparation. About the care needs: Pro-active aid with nice personality. Dad also likes to attend Senior lunch twice a week and go to a restaurant 1-2 x a week to meet with his buddies. So someone who would be social would be great. Dad may not be able to drive due to his foot issues so someone to take him to his drs appts would be great too. Also he likes meat and potatoe kind of diet- so someone who is willing to prepare meals. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
