About the job

Looking for some help with my grandmother who is in the beginning stages of dementia. She uses a walker to get around and it would be someone to help with medication management, making sure she eats, possible helping with bathing, and companion care. She also has a ostomy so knowledge in that would be great. She is capable of walking and communicating. Just needs a little help. Possible help getting dressed if needed. Medicine given Breakfast help Possible card game or watch tv. Possible bath If lunch duty: Medicine given Lunch help and companionship May light laundry or help with laundry Night time: Medicine given Dinner help Get ready for bed. Reading Watching TV Word searches Spending time with family Cooking/baking Compassionate Knowledge of dementia care preferred Friendly Non smoker Elder care Park on street or take a bus Grandson who she will be moving in with has a dog and cat, but should be in another area.
