About the job

About who needs care: She contracted Hepatitus C approximately 40 years ago through a blood transfusion and it has now turned into advanced liver failure & hepatic encephalopathy (which causes memory loss, decreased physical ability and coordination). She currently uses a walker to get around the house and uses a wheelchair in public. Unable to fix meals or remember to take medications. Needs help using the toilet and sometimes needs assistance taking a shower. About the care needs: Female. Lots of patience, and has experience taking care of patients with dementia. Ability to motivate her to do daily tasks. Must like dogs. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
