About who needs care: I am a 35-year-old male. I have cerebral palsy. I use a power chair and need assistance with all daily living activities such as showering transfers using a hoyer lift to and from wheelchair to shower chair into and from bed. This is not a private pay position. This is a Medicaid waiver independent care program through icwp consumer direct acumen through the state of Georgia. It does take about 30 days for your application to get processed and put into the system if completed correctly. Please apply now because I'm looking for someone to start by July 1st, 2025. Applicants must set up a face-to-face interview and complete application on site the day of the face-to-face interview Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
