I'm looking for loving, dependable, hands-on long-term care for my mother in her 90s who has Alzheimer's. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying is involved. Wiping her down in AM is one of our requirements along with applying lotion and massaging. Cooking then feeding, and cutting food into small pieces and sometimes hand feeding if she is tired is required. Need to provide companionship and social interaction. Looking for a companion who likes to talk but knows when to be quiet when needed. Need someone to be able to REDIRECT if behavior change is needed, You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments, She likes to window shop and go out for healthy dinner, Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
