About the job

We're seeking a compassionate, experienced live-in caregiver for an 82-year-old male. Must be personable, attentive, and fluent in English. Duties include: Administering medications 2x daily. Preparing healthy meals 3x daily and light housekeeping. Assisting with bathing, grooming, and personal care. Providing companionship and mental stimulation (mild dementia). Driving to appointments, church, and errands (vehicle provided). Monitoring home needs and communicating with family. Requirements: Valid driver's license and clean record. Dog-friendly (small dog in home). Non-smoker preferred; CPR/first-aid training. Schedule: Alternating weeks of 24-hour care (1 week on, 1 week off). Private bedroom provided. Flat weekly rate.
