My father lives with his partner of 40+ years. He is 80 yo with Alzheimer's and a few other medical conditions. He is quiet, sweet natured and has a great sense of humor. Looking for someone to engage with him and help with activities of daily living. Also, to provide relief and support to his partner/main caregiver. Experience with Alzheimer's/ Dementia and CNA credentials highly preferred. Specifically, my dad needs help with bathing, toileting, grooming, meals, medicine management, intellectual engagement/ stimulation and light cleaning. Willingness to support partner with organization and caregiver management will also be important. Pet-friendly caregivers a plus as there is a dog in house as well. Looking for care 6 hours a week (2. 5-3 hours 2x a week) to start. Potential to evolve into a 12-15 hour/week arrangement over.
