Help needed for my mother 89 and my father 95 - seeking full-time live-in home care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Assistance with medication is needed. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping, some help with dressing, and meal preparation. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, CPR/first-aid trained, and a Certified Nursing Assistant or LPN. I would love to get away once a month for 4 days. In order to do so, I need someone who is basically me to take care of my parents. I have overnight help to assist my father in his routine bathroom visits. In order to do this, I need to build up a trust between my parents and the caregiver, starting with shorter shifts to see the meal/medicine routine and to meet them.
