About the job

I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 80s. My father has dementia and uses a walker. Assistance is required with bathing, bathroom breaks, and meal preparation. He and my mother live in Nokomis. He's a good patient but needs reminded to drink water and go to the bathroom. The ideal caregiver would be someone looking for a more constant schedule as we're trying to build a team of providers (2 day and 2 night) but have flexibility to work either shift. Currently we have a couple caretakers that assist with a morning and evening routine. Typical schedule is 0830-2:30 for the morning routine and evening routine is 5-9-930. I am in need of someone during the days on Friday, Saturday and some Sundays. The schedule is adjustable.
