Seeking hands-on care near New Port Richey for my mother in her 60s. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Some light tidying up is involved (laundry, dishes, etc.). One of your responsibilities will be bed bathing and hair washing (over a laundry tub). Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. My mom does go for PT 3 days a week about 45 minutes away, and also likes to get out to do grocery shopping, etc., so driving her mobility van is required, and as a result a good driving record is required. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Non-negotiable, my mother is a quad so experience with a hoyer lift is a must.
