About the job

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate caregiver to assist my mother in her 80s, who is experiencing short-term memory loss and some cognitive decline. This is a hands-on position in a private home in Jacksonville. Responsibilities include providing companionship and social engagement, assisting with bathing and personal hygiene, light housekeeping - loading dishwasher, laundry, tidying, etc., occasional transportation to doctor appointments. Preferences - comfortable around pets, CPR and first-aid certified, patient, attentive, and experienced with memory care. We are flexible on which days of the week and hours worked but looking for 2 days a week, 5 hours a day.
