Need weekday hands-on care for my father in Jacksonville. His medical conditions include: Alzheimer's, Diabetes, and Heart Disease. Required - experience with dementia, wound care, medication oversight, filling syringe with insulin, non smoker, clear communicator, friendly personality, attention to details. Duties to include: *companionship/interaction/games *medication taking oversight *meal prep (simple) *showering *toileting oversight, cleanup *walking/ light PT exercises * light housekeeping (bathroom, swiffer floors, take trash out, laundry, bedding, etc.) *occasional transportation to blood work appts. (must have own transportation) *clear communication skills *other duties as necessary Our father is very gentle, thankful and remains living in his own. Mandatory availability from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. M-F to apply, NO AGENCIES.
