About who needs care: Two people. Mother - 80s - healthy but with dementia Uncle - 80s - mobility issues but brain is healthy, Uncle is recovering from recent surgery. Food should be low carb. Will need to be provided/reminded with meds am/pm or they won't be taken Mom wakes around 8 or 9. does not need help dressing or anything. Uncle might need help. Breakfast around 9 or 10 a.m. (eggs and toast/butter and coffee that need to be prepped for them) Workout / physical therapy after for each of them They can spend their day relaxing, reading, TV, Talking with each other. Mom would love going to the beach if that is an option or to something interesting like a museum. She likes to get out even if it is just to the grocery store or a park. Uncle would probably like that too but doesn't do it as much because he is still recovering. Light lunch. It can be easy like cold cuts, but I know mom won't eat unless it is placed in front of her. Early dinner no later than 6:30 p.m. Short walk after dinner for mom. TV after dinner. Usually Fox News. Sleep at 9 p.m. Does not need help getting ready for bed. Laundry on a weekly basis required. About the care needs: Kind, Gentle, Slow and patient, Upbeat, Friendly, health enthusiast Skills: light cooking, dementia experience, I'm not sure what my uncle needs, Physical therapy helpful but not requirement as long as movements can be guided and properly performed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
