We are seeking a CNA/caregiver who has a genuine desire to care for our parents; someone who has empathy, a sense of humor, patience, strong communication skills, and experience in caring for a person with dementia and also must be able to perform physical tasks, use a Hoyer lift, and assist with mobility. The caregiver must be able to use a purewick and be dependable and able to manage schedules, track medications, and ensure that our parents needs and safety are met consistently. Some light house keeping and meal preparation are required too. This position is mostly during the night when they are sleeping but the caregiver will need to be alert and ready to assist with bathroom needs, help with repositioning and other tasks that they may need. Preferences for a caregiver who is a CNA, a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
