About the job

About who needs care: My Mom is years old living on her own in a Co-Op in Hamden, CT. She has been diagnosed with slight in cognitive impairment, which has been getting worse. She is able to live on her own, dress herself, bathe herself... etc. She has many hobbies such as playing the piano, writing poetry and playing scrabble but she needs a push sometimes to do things when no one is around. I am looking for someone to come to her house maybe week to help her with things, take her shopping, maybe cook and do laundry and be her companion. Thanks, Liz P About the care needs: Someone maybe who has interest in poetry, writing. Also someone that may be helpful in helping with memory issues. Someone who could push my Mom to do more for herself instead of stay on the couch and rest. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
