About the job

We're looking for transportation and companion care for my father. He's a rather nomadic individual and quite independent but is reaching the age where driving is not the best idea and his memory and hearing have been worsening. We're looking for someone that can drive him around for various errands on a regular basis, keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't stray too far in the wrong directions, and ultimately help him learn that he can age gracefully without having to be behind the wheel himself. Some of the drives might be far, others shorter, but generally he spends quite a bit of time at the park, library, community colleges, etc. With the added flexibility of having someone to drive him places, he may want to venture a bit further, maybe to the mountains. If need be, his car can be used for transportation (up for discussion)
