My mom recently passed away and I am looking for someone 4-5 hrs a day, Monday-Sat to come caregivers my 81yr old Dad. Hours are 9 a.m. -1 p.m. or 2pm? Mon- Sat He uses a walker and has balance issues. Goal was is to graduate to the cane and then eventually walk without a cane. He doesn't need help with personal care however want someone close by to monitor. He lives in our basement apartment. He will need assistance with meal prep, light housekeeping, kitchen duties, laundry, therapy, companionship, applying lotion to back and neck and possible errands. We can discuss other assistance needs. Prep Breakfast and cleanup Prep lunch and cleanup Prep dinner before departure In between duties: Empty dishwasher, empty trash, make bed, light, housekeeping, home organization, errands if needed, applying lotion to his back and arms, accompanying him on short walks, ensuring he does his PT exercises, companionship, etc Reading, watching TV, airplanes or military Caregiving experience Cooking Cleaning CPR LVN or higher - nice but not required Parking Friendly Doodle lives on property but not with caregiver.
