About who needs care: Seeking a pleasant homebody to provide companionship, transportation and miscellaneous household tasks for a 62-year-old woman. The best candidate will have compassion and understanding of mental health challenges, female preferred. Services are in exchange for free rent in private garden level living quarters that include an unfurnished bedroom and family room, private bathroom and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave. Laundry is located on your floor and is shared. The townhome is located in Boulder and backs to a ranch with cows and horses with quick access to many local trails. The entrance to the apartment is shared with the resident/owner. Carport available for parking. Some of the required duties include: - transportation to medical appointments and errands. Must have a reliable auto, valid driver's license and auto insurance - assistance with laundry and dishes - take garbage out - some weeding and leaf clean-up of small deck and enclosed patio - spread ice melt - other cleaning task as they arise Sorry, no pets allowed. No perfume or essential oils. No fragrance in laundry products. No smoking including marijuana. No drugs and no loud music. About the care needs: This request is for a guardianship client who has some severe mental health issues. The best personality would be someone with experience in mental health, compassionate, and patient. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
