About who needs care: He had brain tumors/brain surgery- his condition is similar to a stroke. He needs someone to spend time with during the day to run errands with, cook with, practice his PT/OT/Speech exercises as well as attend therapies with him (most are in the home) He can transfer himself in and out of his chair without assistance most of the time. He does require help bathing, dressing, grooming and using the restroom. My mother lives with him but needs help keeping his days structured and so she can have some independence. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and likes to chat, likes sports, cooking, running errands. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
