About who needs care: My brother is multiply handicapped as the result of a traumatic brain injury. He is sweet-natured and always in a good mood. He has trouble communicating, is wheelchair bound and legally blind. He requires help bathing, dressing, toileting and eating in addition to being accompanied to appointments and activities. He is 5'6" and weights 125 lbs and although you never have to lift him, you have to help him with transfers so you should be sturdy. We are an artsy, laid back, friendly family with kids and dogs in the house. We pay on the books with a W2. We are looking for that special person for weekend work who will be around our family and need to be outgoing, creative, kind, patient, flexible, strong, hardworking, motivated, fun, and able to work independently. Have a good sense of humor and a clean driving record.
