About the job

About who needs care: My father is a paraplegic with dementia type symptoms. He currently is an IHSS recipient. Also must be comfortable with colostomy bag and catheter (although prior knowledge not necessary) Basic responsibilities would be meal prep, medication management, toileting (changing bag/empty catheter) and turning in bed. About the care needs: Currently we are looking for short term (about 2 weeks) live in care. There is a possibility of longer term if it works for the 2 weeks. You would have your own room, full access to kitchen and food. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
