Our beloved 92-YO mother is two years post a stroke that hindered her mobility and speech. She has made considerable progress since her stroke and is mentally alert. She remains bedridden and requires assistance with dressing, diaper changes, regular turning, rehab exercises, and transferring in and out of bed to a wheelchair. Medication management is also required. Other tasks include meal prep, light tidying, household management (laundry and shopping lists), weekly sponge baths, and exercise assistance. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained, as well as Covid & Flu vaccinated.
