About the job

My mother-in-law Kathy had a stroke in November 2023. I have been Kathy's caregiver since the very beginning and I am looking for someone to work 2 to 3 days a week so I can return to work. Kathy's had a severe stroke and no longer has much use on the right side, Kathy cannot speak. Her cognitive abilities very day today. Some days she seems absolutely cognitive and other days, not so much. We are looking for someone who is very patient and caring and also has transferring skills. Kathy uses an Apex. (standing platform.) to transfer from bed to wheelchair. Most transfers are a minimal assist but later in the day Kathy needs moderate help from time to time. We have a simple daily schedule, very typical convalescent care. Kathy does assist with most daily activities. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
