About who needs care: My daughter and I take care of my 94-year-old Mother who is currently a home hospice patient. She has CHF with AFib and has mild dementia. She walks very little ( to the bathroom and back) and requires assistance. She has an engaging personality, and enjoys laughing and conversation. Ideally, someone is needed for 6-8 hours 2 to 3 times weekly and 1 day, 1-2 weekends a month to alleviate caregiver burnout. I'm interested in someone who is caring, attentive, reliable, intuitive, knows how to give medicine, can prepare light meals, and is capable of toileting and assistance in cases of accidental incontinence. About the care needs: See comment before Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
