My mom fell in October of 2023. She had surgery to repair her left hip/leg and after months in SNFs and at-home physical therapy, she is learning to be independent, again. Until then, she needs help with the things she cannot currently do on her own. The best fit for her is someone who is upbeat, positive, calm, encouraging, PATIENT and a good listener. Someone very clean and fastidious with an attention to detail. RELIABLE. She needs assistance showering 2 days/week. She developed a pressure ulcer on her back while at the hospital and had plastic surgery to help close it. It requires a daily dressing change. Her insurance sends a nurse twice a week and a family member comes twice a week. We need someone to cover the other 3 days for 1-2 hours each visit. Days/hours flexible. She will need very light housekeeping and minimal meal prep.
