About the job

About who needs care: Paralyzed vocal cords so has a hard time speaking up. Has expressive aphasia. Interested in old movies, reading, talking. About the care needs: Need someone who is patient enough to let her speak. Need someone who can have intelligent conversation with my mom. Though her speech may be slow, her brain is still quite sharp. She does enjoy being treated like a child. She is unstable on her legs, so we need someone around who can help make sure she is safe if we aren't home. She needs someone to prep her meals and eat with her if we aren't home and help her with her laundry. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
