About the job

I'm 56 yrs old & looking for hands-on care for myself. I have MS and use a power wheelchair. I can stand and pivot and up until recently had been able to transfer reasonably. I am working on getting that skill back, but until then I use a standing transfer device. I have need for someone to help me with toileting, showering and dressing. Right now I am looking for someone who could do a few hours a couple of times per week. That could change based on availability and matching. If there is downtime, it would be great if the caregiver could do some light housekeeping/meal prep.] I had a professional career and now work a small amount of time each week. Hoping to increase that. I am involved with a physical therapy and occupational therapy program. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets, we have two dogs
