About who needs care: Mary had mild/moderate Dementia, her daughter Katie lives with her and manages her care. Mary had a fall and broke her hip 2 weeks ago, and came home on Hospice Care. She is currently bed-bound in a hospital bed at home. Looking for someone comfortable with changing adult briefs in bed and other personal care. (Home health aids do her showers). Mary is very sweet, quiet, loves classical music and birds and poetry. Other than her lack of mobility, Mary is easy to take care of and her daughter is very involved in her care too. About the care needs: Definitely looking for someone with experience and confidence in caring for a bed-bound elderly person. I am learning as I go and am pretty overwhelmed. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
