About the job
We are looking for a reliable, attentive caregiver (female) with elder care and/or memory care experience to help my mother with daily tasks in her home. She's in her late 60's, is almost 10 years post-stroke, and needs help with wheelchair transfers, walking (stand-by assist, holding gait belt), bathing, dressing, medications, light cooking and meal preparation, driving to PT and other appointments, and practicing therapy exercises at home. She has had multiple falls, currently uses a wheelchair, and is building strength to walk w / walker. Caregiver must be extremely attentive, have experience in fall prevention, and very patient and compassionate. Days Needed: Tuesday, Saturday, & Sunday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Two Overnight shifts may also be available w/ different pay range. Please indicate which days you are available for in your reply.
