About the job

About who needs care: This is for 2 people, and elderly couple, 85/87 years old, in their Scottsdale Condo. They are both highly alert and are fairly self sufficient with certain care needs for each. He has early onset Parkinsons, and is a fall risk but he's highly active and fun! He enjoys walking to the mailbox and around the building complex parking lot ; she has mobility issues (painful knees/spine/hand) and is fairly sedentary; can be a challenge getting her in the car. She can dress, shower and toilet on her own but he needs supervision with showering. She uses leg compression socks that are worn in the morning, removed in the evening. She is showing signs of early dementia. Both incontinent. They enjoy going out to lunch and dinner and are always very generous with their caregivers. They area both bright and lovely, super kind and fun to be with. They have a small dog that needs to be walked daily. They both use 4-wheeled seating walkers. They enjoy home cooked meals (American food), nothing spicy, no Indian, Japanese/Sushi. They watch LOTS of sports during the day. About the care needs: Female in the morning/afternoon shifts, male at night. Must speak English. Sports person for him especially in the evening; he was a banker, she was a homemaker, very feminine/girly. Someone patient/kind especially important. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
