About who needs care: My mom would like help with errands such as going to the grocery store and pharmacy, and chores such as laundry. She is relatively independent, but does not drive anymore. She has recently fallen a couple of times, and now uses a cane for stability, although she doesn't really like to use it. She lives upstairs in an apartment complex that does not have an elevator, so she has to be very careful going up and down the stairs. About the care needs: My mom appreciates people who are consistently positive and cheerful. She enjoys talking about art and music. She likes to create colorful pictures (coloring books for grown-ups) and she plays the piano. She also enjoys lighthearted movies. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
