About the job

About who needs care: Has Parkinson's. Uses a walker. Preferred care hours are 8 am-8 p.m. Fri-Sun, though there is some wiggle room on the days/hours. Needs help with basic chores/tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc) plus some help showering and reminding her to take her medication. About the carer: Looking for a kind person and someone who is easy to get along with. The person requiring care is quiet and nice. Someone who is fine doing laundry, dishes, and light cleaning is preferred. Cooking doesn't need to be anything beyond heating microwave meals, making sandwiches, etc. Must be strong enough to help 120lb woman out of a chair or getting her onto her feet if she falls. Services needed: meal preparation, taking her on errands/shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and some help bathing/dressing, putting to bed, medication remind.
