About the job

I need senior care provider must have experience with dementia/Alzheimer's. Our care concerns are:Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Help Staying Physically Active, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Assistance with medication is needed. This can work in to a part time schedule if we find the right fit. This job is to provide extra help for an established caregiver while they go on errands. Senior man lives at home with family has stage 5 dementia. Most of the time very pleasant and easy to get along with. Can get agitated when communication breaks down. This is where your skill is needed to deescalate the issue. Communication can be difficult due to his lack of speaking capability. He does love to talk and tell stories. Physically he can do most things on his own, however can be a fall risk due to instability. we can work around your schedule
