About the job

About who needs care: Left side paralysis/hemiplegia. Assistance with showering & dressing in the morning. My days are usually getting up in the morning, showered and dressed and being around home during the day. I get myself undressed and to bed on my own around midnight or later, so around an hour of assistance in the mornings to get started.. About the care needs: My ideal caregiver would have a positive attitude, be willing to deal with someone who is fairly positive about life themselves. Doesn't require heavy lifting but does need ability to pull and adjust clothing and bending to deal with shoes/socks, etc. I'm not dealing with any recent surgery or infectious diseases, so it's helping out a 64-year-old guy with mobility limitations who is cognitively intact to get ready to face the day. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
