About the job

We need a companion care provider experience for my mother in her 80s. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. She resides at the Gables Assisted Living in Germantown. She is being discharged from the hospital on 6/13 where she's been for 6 days due to UTI, falls, and delirium. Her treatment plan was recently changed to comfort care/hospice. Preceptor hospice will begin care on 6/13. We are looking from someone to be with her, "a sitter" every evening and overnight when she becomes scared and agitated if left alone. Ideally 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. She does better during the day when more people are around. She is pleasant, humorous and conversational, although confused, when someone is with her.
