I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 70s. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. My mother's mobility took a huge turn about 5 years ago when she had a stroke and was also diagnosed with Parkinson's. She has ephasia die to the stroke and so it is tough sometimes for her to get her words out. Her cognitive function is not compromised. She has a dog that I swear she loves more than her children, so my sister dog lives with us. She is very sweet and loves any attention that you are willing to give. Duties are pretty light, she just needs someone to be there.
