Seeking hands-on care for my father with dementia and poor vision in his 90s. My mother is fairly independent but needs some lighter support with reading, food prep and light housekeeping. Responsibilities for my father would include: helping with showering, some help with feeding, meal preparation, potentially shopping for groceries or errands when appropriate, transporting to/from appointments. There is a car to use. There is a team of caregivers around the clock so it is a team effort so that no one is over burdened. You would take the morning shift for now, though other openings may become available. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained would be great. Thank you!
