About the job

About who needs care: My mom is fighting stage 4 cancer diagnosis that will include many doctors appointments and chemo treatments. She is trying to manage lots of pain in back and legs and it is rapidly becoming harder for her to move around the house up and down stairs, so doing daily tasks and driving for errands is less and less possible for the time being. She has two dogs and lives alone in a three bedroom townhouse. My sister is nearby and I live about 2 hours away so we are accessible but cannot keep up with the amount of help she needs to keep up on household tasks. About the care needs: We are looking for someone with a very sweet, caring, patient and supportive personality. Someone who is dog friendly and can drive safely. She will be likely tired and weak so we want someone who is ready to take initiative on household tasks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
