About the job

About who needs care: Senior husband and wife living at home. Wife has drop foot but gets around fine and drives. Husband has hip pain but gets around and drives. No surgeries. Husband is happy to just watch TV daily. Wife is active in her church and likes to meet friends for lunch/dinner, and take walks around the block. About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, who likes to laugh, and who can understand dry humor (with Dad) as well. Would like someone to aid with laundry (Mom can do it, but it is in the basement and we worry about her falling down the stairs), assisting Mom with grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and someone Mom can talk to and enjoy their companionship. Mom plays the guitar and loves music. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
