About the job

About who needs care: My father has stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer that has spread through his bones. He is still mobile enough to walk very slowly, but is somewhat of a fall risk. He needs help from someone who could come in 3x per day to check on him when he wakes up, prepare breakfast lunch and dinner for him, assist with running errands like picking up mail and groceries, and other simple assistance like ensuring his medications are taken. About the care needs: Looking for a care worker who is gentle and compassionate, and thorough with details such as ensuring my Fathers medications are taken and is strong enough to offer some support when walking down stairs or entering a vehicle. My father can still walk but needs someone who can offer physical support if needed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
