About the job

About who needs care: My mom has ALS. She cannot speak and communicates via text to voice on her phone. She needs mobility assistance - getting from couch to wheelchair, etc. She can get herself around once shes in her chair. She eats by feeding tube and administers her food herself, but could use help with meal prep, medicine prep and fetching things she needs. She also needs help with some personal care - no bathing or dressing, but it would be great if you could help with blow drying hair, putting on makeup etc. Also various household tasks like dishes and laundry. About the care needs: We would love to find someone to bring some bubbly energy to her day! She does not want to feel like she is being babysat or hovered over, so there may be a decent amount of down time in our upstairs family room some days! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
